We were asked to make this site so people could read our story and see pictures of MacKenzie. Because of current laws in the State of Minnesota, there is a scant paper trail of this man in public records and on the Internet.
We believe it would be Mackenzie's Wish, that no other child would be hurt by the hands of another person. But by "his" own words captured on video, Brian Merkt admits that he has killed Mackenzie BUT DOES NOT have any remorse for doing so.
